How Many of You Are SAVED?

James,

This is nothing more then Christian doctrine formulating your belief. Many of us are not Christian, therefore there is no need for us to believe in your "truth".

Your Faith dictates what you believe. Your Faith is not objective. Just like every other religious Faith, nothing is for certain. That's why it's called Faith.

I used to believe what you stated. I have since realized that Jesus is the only way. That is the only truth. No other religion can do what Jesus can for you.

Can your faith heal you? I have seen it happen. I know what my GOD can do. I am not trying to be offensive. However, GOD is telling me that the time is near and we need to take action.

I'm uncomfortable with saying that if you believe in God, but don't believe in Jesus, you are going to hell. While the statement is generally true, according to my religion (christianity), james pointed out that the muslims do share the same god as christians. however, both muslims and jews acknowledge God, allah is god and there is no god but allah (some one correct me if that is wrong, been awhile since talking about other religions) and the jews believe in God, yet both religions believe that Jesus was a very influential prophet. Also, to clarify I think what James really means, is that you are saved through Jesus' death. His death is our salvation. From what I read, and I tried to read it as some one not having a religion, it came off as God and Jesus are two different people. However, the Son of God took on a human nature in Jesus. In other words, the Son of God in the Triune God took on a human form in Jesus, and as far as I understand it, that is the Incarnation. So, to say that if you believe in God, but don't accept Christ, and you are going to hell, is slightly misguiding. Accept Christ as your Lord and savior and live a life through him.

I have no idea if that was logical and coherent, so if it wasn't please let me know.

I am trying. Come a long way. I was born Catholic and always had God in my heart but I chose to do my own thing. I been to hell and chilled but now I am back and have a new understanding. I always thought of God as some guy up in the sky with a lightning bolt just waiting for me to mess up so that he could blast me. Now in my renewed relationship with him I have the greatest comfortor ever. You see I used to think "Phuck the world and everyone in it, I am all alone, I got no one but me, thats it" but I have seen that he was always there and that he has always had my back. The truest road dog, my partner, straight up homie, who has my back 100% 24/7/365.

Now as for you who don't want it, cool but I gives a phuck, no ill will wished upon you but I got to take care of me and mines and me and my house will follow the Lord. Do what you wanna do and believe what you wanna believe. The book that I believe in says that some of us are gonna burn, and as far as I am concerned better you than me. If you want God I will do everything I can to help you but if you don't, ain't nothing I can do about it. I can't change anyone all I can do is say "hey he has been wonderful in my life you should check him out" and bounce, the rest is up to you.

To the religious ones on this thread, study up bros because your knowledge is lacking. I am not insulting you and I am not comparing or trying to build myself up as all knowing because I am not but I have read some really wrong things from you guys. Remeber that you give them the message and if they don't want it, then shake the dust from your feet and get on (If you don't get it, read up). Do not argue the word of God. And as far as Catholicism is concerned find out who established it and look at what book it is based on. No doubt they have made some wrong turns but Cathlics and Christians need to stop the bs, it just keeps brothers divided.

One more thing to the non believers, you call it luck, karma, fate, coincidence whatever, we call it God. Toe-mae-toe, toe- maa-toe. Just remeber that we all deserve respect and just as you have the right to not believe and not be rediculed for it we have the right to believe and not be degraded.

right.....c'mon now....you've expereinced God judging somebody....get real man.

Oh boy.....

ofcourse if something happens, it's a fact that it did happen through experience but if it did not happen yet and is prophecized to happen, that's all you have, an unfilled prophecy and your Faith or belief that it will happen. It's not a hard concept. There are no facts or experience that says otherwise. Are you really this stubborn?

Yes, you are young minded, talking about God unleashing his wrath on the non believers and how we will be screaming mercy. That is very childish. You challenge me to what? The Bible will not tell me that you are acting like a fool. I never called you young, I don't need to know how old you are. Some of your responses are just childish. Really, tone it down man.

and I called you a Christian because I thought you believed in Christ, if you don't then my mistake.
Your hilarious! LOL

Honestly I don't even know how to respond to that post it's so dumb, lol.

Warning the unbelievers what lies ahead if they remain unbelievers unto the grave is childish and foolish acting? Nah, it's not childish, it's my duty as a follower of Jesus.

Those who've read the bible know, or should know, that what I said was just a very brief summary of what will happen to the unbelievers. Deal with it, or ignore me.

And when I said I challenge you to prove me wrong, I meant show me that I'm wrong scriptually.

And yes I follow Jesus, and He is my Lord, but I'm not a christian. Labels are meaningless when it comes to Jesus. Either you follow him with all your heart and mind & in spirit and truth, or you don't. Simple. Christianity has caused many problems for many years. Followers of Jesus are blameless, without spot or wrinkle.

Anyway, I can see that you don't care about what the scripture says. And I can see that you have the spirit of slumber. Eyes that cannot see, and ears that cannot hear. I feel that you don't even want to understand, your just looking for an arguement. So....

Matt 7:6- Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

I'm tired of casting my pearls to you. Go your way, and I'll go mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And if you believe that Jesus was just a prophet, it's just the same if you don't believe in Him at all. So just because the Muslims believe that Jesus was real and that He walked the earth, it doesn't mean anything if they believe that he was just a prophet. That's saying that Moses was every bit of what Jesus was/is. Thats saying that Jeremiah is equal with Jesus. And that belief will do you no good.

Btw, "God" is a very generic term. When Bush says "God bless America", for all we know, he could be talking about Satan. So to say if you believe in "God" and not in Jesus, and if you take that belief to your grave your going to hell is not misguiding whatsoever, if one trully believes what is written in the scripture.

Yes, Jesus died for all, but salvation is only for His followers.

And if ANYBODY has a problem with what I said, show me something different scriptually. If you can't show me that I'm wrong scriptually, your argument means absolutely nothing to me.

I've seen Faith healers of many religions fail and succeed, this is no reason for me to convert to their religion or accept their "God"

Oh my, dude when I said you were being childish, I meant just that. I know a great deal about the second coming. Scripturally, you are correct. All those who do not accept Jesus as their personal Saviour will spend eternity in hell....yes, yes we all know this according to the Bible. But when you are trying to make your point you are coming off childish. Non believers screaming mercy, please Lord....blah blah blah. What does it get you off or something?

An as for your last comment, everyone has a right to their own opinion and formulate their own "truth". and like I said before I respect everyones perception, that's what makes us who we are as individuals. But when you act like a child, I have to call a spade a spade.

Yes, Jesus died for all, but salvation is only for His followers.
I too agree with this, but it seems like you are almost saying that there is God, and there is Jesus. It's coming off to me as though there are two gods, God, and then Jesus. I could just be reading things wrong and getting the wrong interpretation, which is possible. And to clarify jesus being a prophet, as far as I know, that is what other religions believe, but correct me if I'm wrong. I do not believe in that.

Dude jesus is God's son. because joseph wasn't his daddy, you know the whole immaculate conception thing.

But if you believe in the Trinity (you know, in church when they say "In the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit), then you would believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one in the same, just taking different forms. Hence, Jesus was God.

In that case why would jesus when on the cross pray to his father? Why woul dhe pray to his father any other time, at that.

Hence not the same.

Not trying to argue but i just dont think so.

also, i think this goes into what denomination u are, because my church doesnt have the trinity that is catholic church.
