to believe in karma though, by extension you should have to admit thier is a "being" that watches over you. why would i come to this conclusion??? well..... to have something come back around in the form of "luck" or "badluck" you would have to have control, rather than just random chance. random chance is what you would have to believe in to believe in no GOD what-so-ever.

Well, if that is how you feel then there is nothing I can do.However, if you were in a private school, would you be referring to catholic school? If so, you do know that catholicism isn't about Christianity?

What exactly do you mean by christianity. Not that it really matters, because i'm sick of religion all togehter.....

Edit: on a side note, christianity is a cult. And since i don't like cults i don't want to take part is cult related activities, i.e. church.

i dont believe in god and other types of myths, karma, there is a reason for everything, etc that kinda bullshit

shit happens, deal w/ it.. thats why we got instincts, 2 bad people choose to shield themselves in their beliefs

I'm saved and proud of it.......This is not my reason for being saved, but what if there really is a heaven and hell? What if this world does end soon? Would you really want to spend eternity in hell? Do you really know where you are going? I would rather be saved and atleast make the attempt to learn more. And to the thread starter, i give big props to you for starting this thread. Maybe just 1 person out of the forums will actually think about it. And if only 1 person does actually think about it and decides to grow more spiritually, then thats something to be proud of. Oh well, i wanted to keep track of this thread and figured i'd subscribe to it

I guess you would consider Jesus the cult leader. What part of religion sickens you? Or was it that it was pushed down your throat all your life?

Not to start an all out war, but lets say you go about worshipping in your respective religion, then low and behold the day of reconing comes upon us, and yet you are NOT saved because of your beliefs. How would it make you feel that you just wasted a lifetime of worshipping and believing for all of it to add up to nothing, and you get treated the same way as us "non-believers"?

As i've stated before i am a Firm believe in Jesus Christ, and His teachings. So i would say i am saved.......now i only wish other people that have arleady posted in here coudl of had a little more respect and not trashed up this threed.........but the damage is done.......i only hope that the rest of the people that post on here will keep it clean and respectfull......later guys

Reading some of the posts on this thread by those who choose not to believe frighten me deeply. It really makes me wonder where society is going.

I in no shape, form, or fashion want to force my beliefs on anyone, but I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ. I feel he has had a hand on many wonderful things in my life, and I am very happy for that.

I hope each and every one of you are blessed, and I pray for you guys that aren't saved. I hope your eyes will be opened one day. Everything always worked out for the best.

Flame if you wish, but I am by no means ashamed of my faith.

Man its soo weird. I really had to open up more to him, but its weird how i can pray and actually see it happening. And things work in mysterious ways. Quick example, me and my girlfriend have been working on our relationship with God. Well i had prayed unto God that we both grow more spiritually and for him to watch over our relationship. About a week or 2 later, she was breaking up with me...For some reason, it wasnt the normal type of break up... I KNEW we was going to be alright. She needed time to grow more. Then the other day i actually thought about the things thats going on in our lives....They are exactly what we prayed on. We broke up for about a week. The time she would have spent talking with me, she spent reading the bible and praising him. We are back together now, and our relationship is better than ever. I guess the moral of it is, when you think things are bad, keep your faith. Everything happens for a reason and God works in mysterious ways. Dont loose your faith. God works on his time, not yours. Everything will eventually turn out alright

Well, to be on the same page, i hope that one day you open your eyes and realize that faith and religion is something artificial and created by man to enstill fear in man.

I'm trying to not trash this thread, but these religious topics are getting really old, really quick. They always end up turning into arguments, and should be avoided. People's beliefs always get the best of them and thats how arguments ensue.

Let the record stand that no one faith is correct, and people have the freedom AND RIGHT to believe what they want. Go ahead and pray for me, you are just wasting your time. If i want to save myself i'll do it the way i please.

I wasn't intending to offend you Tommy. Your (and everyone elses) beliefs are your right and i respect that. As i clearly stated in my first post. I was just contributing to the topic.
