the universe is expanding from its centerpoint (where ever that may be, i dont know). it will keep expanding forever. it expands at the speed of light in every direction. therefor the universe's diameter is expanding 2 lightyears a year. and it is kind of weird to think that the universe has an end, but it does, and i think we will never reach it. not to mention space is 4 dimensional (most likely more dimentions but all theoretical.) time being the 4th dimension. i loved my astronomy class, it was really neato.

That means, however, that the universe is...well...for lack of words, big. Therefore the chances of there being other life out there is entirely possible. Furthermore, the chances of earth just happening like it did are very plausible...

Just watched a show last night on PBS (The Elegant Universe) about something called "The String Theory". Right now it is the only threory that can connect the 4 forces (electromagnetic force, strong force [which holds together neutrons and protons], weak radioactive force, and gravity) together. Only catch is; for the String theory to be correct, there needs to be 10 dimensions......the 4 we already know of (height, width, depth and time), and then 6 microscopic dimensions that "contain" the "strings". Interesting, interesting stuff.

Another interesting thing is that no matter what point you are at in the universe, all things will appear to be expanding away from that point. So in theory, the centerpoint of the universe is where ever you are observing the universe from. Wrap your brain around that one...........

thats where faith comes to play...

is it worth not taking the oppurtunity to see for yourself instead of staying closed minded...

if im wrong and there is no God, then no big deal...if you are wrong and there is a god..then what?
