how many batts would i need to run a audiopipe ap3000?

^ isn't anything under 12.5 bad for electrical?
is ok at about 11.8 since the engine is drawing power..but if it starts to dip then thats concern..but in most cases you'll want to be seeing more Voltage than that to avoid blowing stuff up.

At 10.5v a batt is considered fully discharged. So anywhere near that or below will cause excessive sulfation and permanantly damage the batt.

12.5 to 12.8v is the normal resting voltage when the vehicle is turned off.

But either way if you are seeing 11's at full tilt and you are probably at 13.8-14 when not at full tilt. Thats 2+ voltage drop which is going to be very noticable dimming.

I ran stock alt with the Big3 in 1/0 along with a pair of Batcap 2000's pushing about 5Kw rms daily and never dropped below 12.8v~. Added an O.G. 300A alt and never dropped below 13.6 (modded the alt to put out 15.5v~)

now I sold that stuff and am running about half that power on the O.G. alt and the Big3 alone dropping to about 12.6~ at full tilt. I will be adding a small battery soon.
