well I just read a thread about running all different batteries...well my question is:

in my car I havejust a regular battery up front (will be a red top here soon)...in the back I have two kinetic hc600's and one of those look alike hc600's...I just have a fuse behind the front battery then that wire goes to the first battery in the trunk then to the second then the third. then off the last battery the power wire goes to my amps. will this cause any charging problems in any way? this is my daily driver. and if I've done anything at all wrong please gve good details on how or what to fix...

no as long as you start your car regularly. Since all the batts probably rest at a different voltage they'll constantly give/receive voltage from each other when the car is off shortening their lives somewhat

thats thew right way to do it but like stated earlier multiple batts will pull charge off one another. sell them and buy one big battery for the back i say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

anyway to stop this from happening? I do start my car everyday prolly like 20times a day. and I drive around all day (deliver pizzas)

see I got small ones so I can spread out the weight. ..what size kinetic for say 2000watts? with the red top up front? also what would it weigh? that 97pound batt you sold me was just toooo much for my little honda

only 2k rms? one hc2400 would do with a redtop upfront
well how long will it take for them to kill eachother? id love to keep my batts since I already own them...like if they will last for years like this then im kool with that....I jus don't want them to possibly drain my main battery

You're getting at a battery isolator. Small little device (though kinda expensive, anywhere from 50-100 bucks) that like its name kinda states, isolates the two batteries. ideal for if you do a lot of listening with your car off so only your back battery drains and your front one can stay untouched so you can start it whenever you need till the back one gets charged back up. That's really the only way to keep them from uncharging each other.

Either that or unhook all batteries in the back while your not driving //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

well what if I never EVER play my music with the car off?

1) how long d I have til my rear batts kill eachother?

2) if I drive all the time since I deliver pizzas will they ever kill my front battery?

3) when the car is on my rear batts read 14.?? on my DMM...

so can I get the 2 questions answered and also do u think I am fine? als when im really pounding on my subs my front volt meter by the front batt doesn't g under 13.4
