yes you need amps for any subs. the speakers you don't have to have amps on. you can just run them off the head unit.ive got 2 kicker l7 15s. do i need amps for those and for the other speakers that ive got... sorry im just doing all this on my own thanks
you can have an amp for the 6x9s. They would sound much better and get much louder without distorting if you had an amp for them. But, you can still just run them off of the head unit. And for the two subs, I would recommend getting a mono block amp. You're going to need a fair amount of power to power those subs.so the six by nines ive got with the mid and tweeters in them i dont need an amp for and since i have two subs do i need a two channel amp?
where are you in tn?yeah, one big amp on the subs and u can run other speekaz off the hu like he said.. or amp em
Actually, unless you want the subs to completely drown out the rest of your system, I would suggest an amplifier to power the rest of your system as well.
You can, but then you have no music, you have bass flooding your mids and highs. You want it balanced unless you're looking for an SPL machine. Keep it clean and get an amp for at least the front speakers. Several people don't run rear speakers, but no problem in running them, but you can save a few bucks by running those of the HU and running an amp to the front.yes you need amps for any subs. the speakers you don't have to have amps on. you can just run them off the head unit.
