How many amps would these two draw??

I have a 2003 RF power 551X from an old system and I now have a Hifonics BX1500D on my XXX. I have done the big three and got an optima red top under the hood but, the 1500D is still sticking it to my little 2.2 s-10 alt. I was just wondering how many amps these two amplifiers would draw at full tilt and rms???

W = V x A

V = W/A

A = W/V

A car produces 12 V when off from the battery, and approx. 13.8 V when on, so you're looking at approx. 108.696 amps when your car is on, and 125 amps when off. Now would anyone like ohms law explained in the process? :p

The above will give you max amps at 100% efficiency. No amp is 100% efficient. From Dom Iraggi, multiply the total wattage by .119 for a class A/B amp and .094 for a Class D. That will give you a pretty close estimate for max amps. For real world current draw divide that number by 3.
