How I lost my butt and gutt in a mere 6 months*pics*

just wondering but looking at your exercise routine....what does the units under the ab section mean....are you doing 100x3...just wondering....I think I'm gonna start a routine up...

nice detailed routine... i dont do that much when i go to the gym but i have youth and good genes on my side aswell.... your routine is pretty constant from what i got form it did you run into pleatuing (sp?)? when i do my bench press i try and go for muscular endurance aswell as strength so for instance i start with 145lbs. and increase 10 pound for each set (10-8-6-4-2) then a burnout with 115lbs. and usually can do around 15- 20 reps.... i dont bother with my legs cause i ride bmx alot and they get a pretty good workout.... you should also try doing dips...

2700 is so little granted you're probably not as active as i was in season.
one of my nutrition classes last year i had to figure it out for 2 weeks, i was averaging 4000 a day, and weighed a nice 150lbs, but working out 4-5+ hours a day helps out quite a bit too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

but ive relaxed a bit over the past month or so, stuff like this makes me realize that when spring comes around and it warms up i need to start running alot more.

best of luck!

I am twice you age. You have an advantage and that is high metabolism. I burn around 4000 calories per week exercising. My main goal now is to get below 9% body fat. I started at ~25% currently I am at 11%. I'm getting there. Once I shed all of my fat it will be bulk time. This is where changes will be very noticable.

Shit, much better then those infomercials.. The only reason i havent done something like this is because im skinny as ****. haha I eat shitty too... but I by no means "feel" healthy.. I bet you do
I feel great! I am in the best shape of my life at the moment and things are only getting better. I hear ya on the infomercials. Daily I hear stories about "hip-hop abs" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Little do they know that abs are made in the kitchen! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Congrats! I'll be doing some working out this spring/summer once the weather gets a bit nicer out and I cease using my weight bench as a storage shelf. I've gained 30 pounds in the past 4 years after starting a job stuck in a cubicle all day. Time to remedy that.

That log is from when I first started working out. The abdominal crunch machine is what i used. It has a big round pad that you put against your chest and crunch.

I did 3 sets at various reps @100lbs.

Since you ride BMX I think squats and deadlifts would be in your best interest. This will give your legs even more strenght and your back will get stronger to sustain those landings.

The breathing squat routine has dips in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I have been doing A LOT of dips. In another 5 weeks I will start weighted dips:readytog:

Good luck! The main thing is to set a realistic goal and keep at it!
