HOW DO I wire AN 8ohm realistic40-102 and a 4ohm Rockford fosgate S1-84 to a PLA2570?

go get a DMM, turn stereo off and measure the OHM value at the amp's speaker terminal and tell me what it reads.

1.8 ohms.. that's a 2ohm nominal load... not 4ohm!

This is why your amp is still going into protect.

Sounds like its not a good amp to begin with. IIRC thats a Pyle amp. Pyle is synonymous for pyle of ****

edit: why are badwords censored when I say them, but others can drop f bombs all day and not get censored and some even have fewer posts than me.

Well I don't exactly have options yet. This is my first system and its going to take time for me upgrade($) and learn this stuff. For now if it works Im happy, and it doesn't. Thank God for the internet, otherwise Id be screwed. Shizzzzon, how do I make it work with what I got?

It mostly comes down to weight. You can have a super lightweight cone, soft suspension and aluminum coil on a sub and you pretty much get a pro...
