Hi. Complete Newbie here. HELP

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I am 17 years old and I drive a 96 VW Jetta, with rims, coilovers, 7" Kenwood LCD screen and PS2(my friend installed it for me). My sound system is all STOCK. But I am hoping to change that in a few months. I just found this site a few days ago. I am just starting to be interested in car audio and I am looking to learn a lot. I am a complete newbie when it comes to car audio or electronics for that matter. It's a mystery to me. So is there and common myths about car audio that I should know? Can anyone give me a reference to the "terms" of car audio, what they mean and what is their purpose? Can anyone give me something to search for so I can get a basic understanding? Wait wait wait......he's the bit*h, yet you're the one posting meaningless crap in a vain attempt at humor? Isn't it the moderators job to eliminate posts like yours? Is the sky also green where you live?

Anyways, look at the site John posted, it's got everything you need to know, the only downfall is it would take about a year to read through. Here are some other sites off the top of my head

At least I have tried to better my posts and not make stupid comments.(Oh, she's not my girl anymore)I do not know why you post that when you do not even know me.

Not all the mods are what you say they are. Although I do argue with them a lot. John being one of them, but that is besides the point.

Anyway, back to the topic of the thread. There are a lot of people on this board that will help you learn what you want to. Just use AIM and message one of the people on this board and they will help you. For the most part everyone on this board really tries to help you, and is nice when doing it.

Good luck with your learning and if I can help(with little that I know) just hit me up on aim and I'll do my best.
