HHR Build 3-SS RL-i8's

no port issues, i thought it was too small too, but sounds great. i mean, these things sound like 15's when they hit down and low. they are awesome. been into car audio for 12+ years and was an installer for 10, but these things brought ear to ear smiles since last night. i am truly happy with the outcome and just need some cosmetic work to get it done.

the amp was benched on here doing around 2800@2ohms with 13v. i sit about 13ish while the vehicle is on and frankly loving every minute.

total cost on substage about $1200. still have a few odds and ends. maybe deadener in the hatch area later on down the road.

I can't believe you don't have any port turbulance issues. I ran one of those little beasts in about a cube and a half, tuned to 36hz using a 33" long 4" pvc and had more than enough turbulance issues, especially around tuning. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

sorry guys, no updates for awhile. my mentor and friend bob sutton, my old shop teacher passed away today. if it were not for him i would be dead or in jail today.
