when i blew my HEX mids i went to my local shop that sold them to have them sent in to have reconed... but instead they just opened up a new set and gave them to me for the price of the recone...didnt have to wait 3-4 weeks for them... maybe u could chk w/ a shop and see if they would do that for you as well...

i have never had a problem with any diamond stuff. i blew those same tweeters in my cobra and i just pulled them out took my dealer just the tweeters and he opened up a new box of the comps and just traded the tweeters.
