My problem is with church not god. Church in most religions is corrupt. Most people believe that if you don't go to church you're not a good catholic, christian, etc.... But if god is all seeing/knowing how can that be true? If you do believe in the bible, it's not. Now if you want to say it's a gathering place to worship/give thanks to god, then ok, I'll accept that. But don't say that if you don't go to church you're not a true believer.

It says in the bible why god lets these 'christians' run rampant. We have our ability to do our own thinking and eventually the 'church' must stray so far from original beleifs that the rapture comes to pass and the world will end.

Do I think the rapture is comming any time soon? No.

Do I think most churches are run by corrupt idiots? Yes.

Christians already had an army...they killed people. Most 'Christians' arent christians at all. If you beleive your way is the only way to Heavan and all others will be banished to hell I feel sorry for you. There are christians that are so stupid to think that people who never hear the word of christ or god burn in hell with no choice. That logic is as good as the Scientologist's logic.

Well, if you had actually studied nearly any religion, you'd have an answer for that. God created us all to worship him, but when Eve (and Adam) ate the fruit, we gained knowledge of evil. It wasn't God's original plan for us to do bad things, but he didn't want us to be mindless drones who can do nothing but worship him, because it's impossible to TRULY love something when that's all you can actually do and you have no choice.
It's quite easy to see why you can be held accountable for your actions, he left a guidebook for you, all you have to do is read it.

everytime i eat an apple, it just moves my dentist date back....it doesnt make me smarter. And if god made us, to worship him.....thats a dick move. Kinda selfish IMO. Why create someone to love you....you have a hand for that if you **** so bad you have to make someone up.

Offerings are one thing, requireing you to give money is another. Catholic Preists with brand new fishing boats....makes me wonder.

I will NEVER be involved with a church that requires me to give X ammount of my income. God asks you to use 1/10th of what you get to help others...that doesnt mean give 1/10th of your paycheck to a guy who preaches for 5 2hr sessions a week.
