help with new sub setup

ok ive been running 4 12" kicker L7's off of 2 alpine pdx m12 amplifiers. i blew a sub 3 or 4 months ago and replaced it. now i just blew another sub last week and want to sell the 3 remaining L7's in their custom box. Im open to suggestions as to new subs. im thinking 2 subs that handle 1500 rms, one possibility is 2 10" solo x's, also thought about trying 2 12" type x, not oppsed to 15's or other brand subs.

No they dont.. Go with the 4s or SSA Icons

my amps birthsheet at almost 1350 rms, the level 4's say 1000 rms, the xl's say 1500 rms, i was blowing L7's when they said in a sealed box they could take 750 a piece

You blew your subs cause the amp is set wrong not from to much power.. Those XLs can easily handle 2000-2500 watts. Level 4s fit your amp much better. If it makes you fell better get the level 5 upgrade coils. Im going to be putting 2800 to my pair of level 4s with 5 coils

ive got the big 3 in 0/1, optima deep cycle under the hood, 250 amp alt, and a kinetic in the back

I never heard of L7s just blowing without a noob running full bass boost or improper gain setting. But you might just of got the ****** batch, just make sure everything is straight and monitor your voltage. Go with 2 good 1000 watt subs but you wont get the same output those L7s had. Im sure you already know that

2 alpine pdx m12's, 1200rms at 2-4 ohms, they actually birthsheet at 1341 and 1329, oh i also push my subs really hard, its not unheard of for them to get played at what i have set as "full volume" for an hour or two straight
