Hey, everyone. I'm fairly new to car audio and don't have much experience installing this type of stuff. I currently acquired the following:
Amp: MTX TA8502 (125 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, 250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms, 375 watts x 2 at 1 ohm
500 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms, 750 watts x 2 bridged output at 2 ohms)
Subs: Audiobahn Dub200 12"
DVC 4 Ohms
Peak: 800 watts
RMS: 400 watts
2 ohm or 8 ohm operation
Kicker 10C124 12"
SVC 4 Ohms
Peak 300 watts
RMS: 50-150 watts
I have both of the subs in a sealed box and they just aren't doing it for me. They seem to be a bit muddy and aren't hitting quite as hard as I'd like. I'm wondering what the ideal wiring configuration would be for this type of setup. Please bear with, as I'm extremely new to the topic of car audio. Should I try to bridge them? I'm really at a loss as far as what I should do at this point. Any tips or advice would be majorly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
