no, the head unit does not have crossovers and neither does the amp. you can buy an external crossover between the head unit and amps.

you need crossovers somewhere or it will sound poor and you will lose available volume due to distortion. you bought one of the cheapest amps you can find, hence your issue. you should have spent that money on a used amp and been better off. marine amps aren't necessary since they shouldn't ever get wet anyway and a boat is not more hot or humid than a car trunk.
