Help with my setup?

Whats up guys, kind of new to the car audio game. I have a 2001 Prelude with blown stock speakers. Thr front dont sound as bad, but the back are pretty bad.

I also have 2 Kicker comp 10s in a box that i just bought used from a friend. Im trying to decide what amp to get so that I can enjoy my music more. Any help? Ill eventually buy new 6x9s and 6.5s, but i want to get these subs hooked up first. Im running off of a sony xplod headunit. Im trying to spend the least amount of money possible but i will pay what i have to to get what will work and sound good.

What version of the kickers do you have (RMS and Peak ratings)?

What ohm? If they are just the comps then there 150rms so you have a million cheap amps to choose from that will do a good 300+

The rms is 600 and peak is 1000. At least thats what my friend said he thinks.

I dont see any online with those specs though, so ill look at them after work and let you know exactly what they are.

Why do you say not to worry about back speakers? The subs will overpower the annoying sounds?

u can unhook the back speakers. i dont know about off the head unit, but if u buy a small amp for your front speakers, it will be able to get plenty loud for you and your passengers with just the front speakers.

most people instead of spending the money to replace the back speakers, use that money to buy the cheap amp for the front speakers so it can go louder and have more bass

Well honestly the front speakers arent bad.

I used to have 6.5 Infinitys and 6x9 Pioneers in my Civic Hatch but i couldnt get them out when it was totaled. Are brands like Alpine, RF, or Kicker much better than these?
