Help: Which Optima Battery?

I can say when I was deployed for 9 months my 3 group 34 XS dropped to 4v and after a few days of charging where back to full power.

There are plenty of battery comparisons out there to judge for yourself.

Optima is fine for daily use, not the daily use we do.

well my car is a weekend driver. Driven sometimes just a fri or sat, sometimes both, somestime maybe sunday too but I have 3 vehicles so the stang which has the optima might sometimes get driven only one day that weekend. I have 2100 total watts. Am I in that category of " for what we do" .... I'm thinking you guys are more extreme music fellas lol?

You can check my threads to see. Also I dont care what battery you get but optima isnt the same QUALITY that it use to be. They are over priced junk now imo. Dont get suciered into a battery advertised solely for car audio they are always almost double the price

I was. Not so much now. I've got enough stock alternator for my needs

i got 7 from him.

i have a yellow top, its on its 14 year........ and going strong.

and theres no 1 batterys going to out last another.

it all depend. you could buy a $800 battery and could only last a year...

its dependant on many factors and 1 being your alt, 2 what are you pushing power wise, and so on.

how much did yours cost?

ok I might try one of yours. I will see if they will take this battery back since this one doesn't fit in the tray totally like the one I took out. Also got to measure and see what size I took out to see what you have in that size.

CCa's matter in the one's you sell? I'm guessing I should stick with 700 or better

and ya that 55ah is a nice battery.

i want to get say 4 of them instead of 7 smaller ones.

he has a listing for the smaller ones i have. but i would not use them for a starting battery. the 55ah i would.

I have the 55ah deka he sells as my second battery in my truck, with the duracell AGM being my primary battery - how do you think I know they're the exact same battery? lol

well I replied to his comment and I will need something to start my car and handle 2100 w rms power, and drive car with AC running in summertime, ect. So whatever he has comparable to the optima in that regard I need to know. I know yall say his are better than the optima or just as good for wayyy less pricing so I will see. My size needed is 9 1/4 X 6 3/4 and top post

the one i liked to is fine for you.

you dont run off battery when its running. the alt does the work.

and you really need to get off the Optima kick... there not good batterys anymore.

they use to be but not any more.

just get that 55ah battery, if it fits your tray.

when my yellow top goes out i will not be buying another. in fact you could not give me a new one.

sams club sells the dual post AGMs for $140 or so. if you can save the $50 and just put your terminals on the side id buy the deka for $90. if you can run dual batteries it'll help with voltage drop and power output.

ITS FINE TO BUY BATTERIES OFF EBAY.... **** GRANTED YOU BUY FROM A STORE THAT HAS SHOP NEAR YOU... ive bought several from various online companies including ebay... look at the store i bought a optima yellow top for like 150... it happened to be from like auto zone... who exchanged it 3 xs ... (improper charging due to ecotec limits) no questions asked then eventually gave in store credit refund ... ive found a few like that... look at pages warrenties and store... all the online stores take paypal too... i bought from advanced then went and picked it up 15 minutes later lol
