HELP! sub not doing anything! (pics)

also, i just connected the ground wire from the amp directly to the neg terminal on the battery, so it cant be ground problem now, or an amp problem. soooo, the only possibility now is rca cables?
no, if the speaker termianls are reading 32v then that means the RCAs are giving the amp a signal. It's probably somethign with the sub, check to make sure u wired it correctly. Or just test the resistance at the box's speaker terminals and see if it actualy gives the correct ohm reading.

i doubt it's your RCAs..... did u do what i asked u?
do u mean set the bass on the equalizer all the way up? bc i dont think that will go over 10, and when i set that up , my components turn the base to high and distort at low volumes. the subwoofer is set on. ill see if i can ffind a sub output on the hu

not the bass, but the subwoofer level.

bass should be at 15? bc it doesnt even go that highalso i was just looking at it and the amp went into protection mode....
the bass and the subwoofer control two different things. not the bass, the subwoofer one.

Your sub wiring looks suspect to me, but its hard to tell from the picture. Can you get another speaker of any kind to test the amp with. If you can be sure to turn the gains down before you hook it up.
all i did was connect the two reds, and two blacks and run one of each speaker wire to the speaker wall terminal. their sadered and have electric tape

i cant find any control like that. the manual seems the reference sub output level but it gives me these directions - bass>treble>subw>balance>fader>defeat>volume>bass

but i cant find these options. i only get bass , and treble

so it has to be either the hu settings or faulty sub?
You can't find that? what comes after treble?

you can set bass to 0...... i had that player before. It goes from -7 to 10. you can set it at 0 for now. Turn that subwoofer control to 15
