Help New Setup Sql>spl

I CURRENTLY HAVE A SYSTEM THAT IM NOT HAPPY WITH ANYMORE 2- 12' PIONEER PREMIER TS-W3004 SUBS IN A PORTED BOX 3.47CU. FT. AND A LANZAR HTG2600D (2000W MONO) AMP. ITS A DECIENT SETUP BUT I WOULD LIKE MORE SPL AND ALOT MORE SQL, SQL MORE IMPORTANT. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I GET 3or4- 10S" OR STICK WITH 2- 12S". I KNOW YOU CAN GET MORE SQL OUT OF 10" THEN 12" BUT SACRIFISE LOW FREQUENCYS. I MOSTLY LISTEN TO RAP MUSIC. SHOULD I ALSO SWITCH TO A SEALED BOX? I HAVE A 96 CADILLAC STS AND MOST SOUND IS TRAPPED IN THE TRUNK BECAUSE OF THE CPU BOARD AGAINST THE BACKSEAT WHICH CAUSES ALOT OF TRUNK RATTLEING. IM ALSO THINKING ABOUT GETTING A DYNAMAT TRUNK KIT, HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP OUT A LITTLE SQL. WHICH SUBS COMPANIES SHOULD I BE LOOKING FOR? PRICE RANGE UNDER 300EA FOR 12S AND UNDER 150-200EA FOR 10S. AND YES I WILL BE UPGRADING THAT P.O.S AMP ALSO. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Dont get me wrong they are great subs, its just that ive had the system for about a year now and i want to upgrade. My first system was a 15 cvr (just rattled my car) now these 2 pionners. I have a little higher budget now and want better sound quality and spl. Could getting a better amp then i have now help out with my problem also. please leave me some input people

I just got rid of a pair. Perfect budget sub. Remind me alot of a type r (spl + sq wise).

well now you have me thinking i should take up that offer. But i might stick with do the 4 r's

I know you said you could go with either 12's or 10's, but what are you leaning towards.

Im not sure if i want 10's or 12's thats why im askin you guys for your input. I would think 3 or 4 10's would be louder then 2 12s rite but i want to hit those low notes frequencies also because i listen to alot of rap

I just came across this so far.

3 or 4 Kicker CVX 10" $450-$600

2 Re SX-12's $500 But my reguard is that they are only dual 2ohm, i wont get much power compared to dual 4ohm on a mono 1 ohm stable amp

Also if your looking for a good sql sub shouldnt it have a wide frequency range like 18-1k hz for example

install, and the sx is a super good sub for the money, maybe even look into doing 4 10's re se's, they get pretty loud and sound awesome

do you have any sound deadening in your trunk and silicone where you cant put deading i had that problem of rattles also i reckon you cant go past Fi car audio subs probablyy the BL as you want both loud and good sound but the q and the entry are supposed to be exceptional aswell as for amps sundown do great amps for great prices you coupd go a sundown SAX 100.4 for your fronts and rears and a SAZ3000D for your subs and run 2 fully loade FI BL 12" or even 15" as for fronts and rears thats a personell thing but the above system bar whaatever you use for speakers and ear fill will bump and sound great

and as for recomending them the conversation was about RE and where did RE start and who made RE and what does that person make now hmmmm??

besides youve seen the net have you ever seen other ppl who have stereos with Fi have you evert seen stero magazines or even dvds or are you the only one who knows for a fact that know one in the whole of australia has FI or RE subs :verymad:H8tr:verymad: i recomend what i deem to be a good solid product on recomendation and preformance also from reveiw aswell as personel use because if i dont recomend with all those factors in mind how can i recomend with and informed statement of fact

this place is full of informed an uninformed i go by people and then the product if you can trust and deal with the ppl the product geerally is quality

besides Im a sheep and Ive bought some so i recommend them numpty:crying:
