I have a 1995 mercury tracer and it has a extremely high idle. It idles at 1500 rpm when it should be around 700-900 rpm. I replaced the computer and it is still idling high. Does anybody know of anything that could be wrong with it or where i can find information for it.

Thank You,

Bone

thanks wErd for your help, but this morning I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and that solved all my problems. Now it idles like its suppost to. Now all i need to do is save up some money for a sound system.
