Help me pick an amp for my PSI platform 2 10'' 2ohm subs

I would suggest 2 or 3 (2 to start) identical to the one you already have, along with 2 runs of 0ga, and double up any 0ga wiring upgrades you have already done....I know it may sound like overkill, but the amp you have coming is going to transfer a shit ton of juice at .5 ohm....the dang thing calls for 350a fusing and it is a guess who for me as far as power output, but get the electrical right and I don't think 4.5 - 5k is going to be out of the ballpark. It is underrated at 4200 watts at 1 ohm on 14v , as it is.
I have a hunch you already have a separate, accurate volt meter, if not, get one.
ok I figured 2 for sure at least..

I Only plan to run it at 2 Ohm: so 1 x 1600w @12v and 1 x 2400 w@14.4v

Sorry a bit confused here, you say double up the 0g I already have, so you mean run two full runs from the battery under the hood to the battery by the amp??

With the dual power inputs do you know if there is any gains to running each one off its own seperate battery or is ok to supply them from the same battery.

And yes I have got a volt meter

my bad, I thought you were going .5 with that amp, which is why I recommended doubling up the 0ga. But yeah, at 2 ohm, you should be fine with the single run of 0ga. and probably just one more xs D3100 with the 270 alt you have.. So, yes, supply them from the same battery.

Ok that makes sense..

for argument sake lets Say I went with two Batcap 3k's .. one under the hood and one beside the amp. This would be sufficient ?

or the same setup but with the xs d3100

very sufficient, IMO...The xs d3100's do have more Ah capability, but weigh a few pounds more..I would just add another xs, but if you just want to do something different, the Batcap 3k will work.

I think I'll go with the two batcaps so I'm not miss matching. Thanks for the help again!!

I'm going to donate my XS to my friend, maybe then I can convince him that his 1farad flux capacitor isn't doing **** for him lol

I just wanna make sure this is all done right the first time .

This amp is calling for 350a fuses. this is a quote from the manual ''This cable has to be fused at the battery & the amplifier for safety precautions.''

So my question now is should my setup look like this. All 0g wire, and there will be TWO wires coming off the second battery because of the dual power setup on the amp

Alt---Battery----fuse----------------------------------fuse---battery---fuse---fuse---amp

OR will this below be ok since the rear battery will be so close to the amp..

This seems like a hell of alot of fuses to me but I dunno.

Alt--Battery---fuse-----------------------------------fuse---Battery---Fuse---Amp

And should they ALL be 350a.??

Edit: anybody just stumbling across this the amp is this http://b2-audio.com/zero1.html
