You sound young and stubborn. Trust me, you don't wanna **** him off.

Which would you rather believe, a website with a Dyno test of only 1 rating, or some people with real world experience and know how with many brands? Companies do that to lure in buyers....it's a marketing scheme.

On another note if you have an issue with my amp I don't care. That's not what this thread is about, so leave.

Other noobs read this forum too and i prevent them from making the same purchasing mistake. You can stay ignorant to the facts all you want bud. Whatver makes you happy in life. Where's your proof other than a CEA sticker? I'd trust an amplifier dyno over any 4 ohm test anyday. I also trust what actually gets loud and sounds good and I definitely will never put money into hifonics ever again. Maybe one day you'll see the light when a guy with a true 1500 watt amp destroys your setup.

I don't forsee this ending well Jeff. Your trying to prevent him from making a mistake. But hey, he's dumb/stubborn....let him deal with it. Makes no sense to me to have an amp and only using 1/2 the amps power.

Hi-Fonics... LOL... I run cheap amps bud... but if you believe that CEA logo... Lots of small box subs out there, I'd just look at excursion, build quality and sensitivity myself... Sub build quality is a must if you really have 2k... (Cast basket, 2.5" 4 layer VC min. and woven tinsel leads)... but I'm a noob as well ... What do I know? Hey man if you got a 2k amp run dual 4's and let that amp eat!... Then meet someone with a DC 2K and see the difference... personally, if I had that amp and I was using a sealed enclosure I'd go with this one... https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_77324_RE-Audio-SCX12v2-SCX-12-v2.html ... No woven tinsels here but Great x-max for the price and they're small box subs. A pair of these should do the job... I think... just don't clip them too much!
that re ain't bad good xmax whats u with .17 sub disp.? alot for small sub., in your case with 1 cf per sub and sub that says .75 cf boxes works about right..

yeah that .17 displacement is hard to believe when a 55lb 12 inch is around that much displacement compared to the RE which is a 17lb sub. Someone smoking a joint when they write these specs i swear...

For reference this is an actual .17 displacement and its 3x the beefiness of that RE

The magnet-basket is big-well built... The voice coil is vented really well... it looks bigger than 2.5" when you look thru the vents under the spider. Oh yeah... pretty large spider as well... standard tinsels looks like the weak spot but I guess for 100 you can't have everything. A pair of these d4 wired in parallel @ 1 ohm should be a great match for that amp.

thats what i'm saying i think sundown E is like .12-.14 my pioneer is under .1 and it has good size magnet and handles lots more power.

What pioneer? Those E's are underrated RMS...The Pioneer you listed says 600... it may say more but I'd be real careful backing that up ... I would not try this with that pioneer... watch...

... Probably blow like a light bulb
