2 ohm thing is an inside joke with one of the forum blow-hards.

I ended up purchasing a JBL GTR-1001 (great sale price) and the Rockford p400x4. You think just the frame to ground with 1/0 gauge would be fine, battery is brand new.

I've had very good luck with the JBL/Infinity products and you can't go wrong with a RF amp. You'll definitely want to upgrade the battery to the frame with as big and short wire as you have. Others are optional with only factory alternator IMO.

I should have plenty of 0 gauge left over, so I will do that. Battery I will replace here in a month or two. Still researching on one to choose.

no big 3 and small old 4ga wire., don't want to kill my electrical.. however i got 1 new batt terminal in yesterday if i can get factory neg wires to reach new shorter terminal and car runs good with it i'll order wires and do big 3.. so i maybe at 1 ohm by summer never know but alt acting up so well see..

Hey guys, I’m looking for some honest advice, some of the talk about sub is a little over my head but I have own a few subs and amps so I know general terms so any how I’m looking to put this setup in my truck, can I get anyone to give my there opinion one this deal for the price?
