Wire sub to fusebox?

I have a vibe slick 400 watt rms 1200 watt peak, it's an active Subwoofer that has a 30 amp fuse in it. Does this mean i can wire it to the fusebox which has a missing fuse rated at 50 amps?

First, the power wire size from the fuse box to the battery is usually inadequate for amplifier use. Second, using the fuse box can cause all kinds of noise problems for the amplifier.

get 4 ga power wire kit with inline fuse and rcas for around $40 run wire to battery put fuse about 6"-12" from batt under hood, make ground from amp close to in in trunk (make sure u sand paint off metal b4 mounting ground ring there) plug rcas to hu pre outs.. there's no way to short cut any of this or u will have horrible sound, fry amp or mess up car, possibly cause fire..
