Hearing weird noises from my sub/box

Had my box redone today down to 1.25cu net at 35Hz, its a simple port with one board, air goes out the bottom of a wedge box. Was having problems gettin the box to respond the first time it was built, was large and tuned very low. Made it recommend size for decent bass to most music. Im not hearing this kind of flapping noise, kinda like theres a piece of paper by the port being blown my the port. Theres nothing in the port and its not blowing on somthing. The noise isnt really coming from the sub side so i dont think its the sub but idk. When i put my ear by it dosnt sound like thats where its coming from. Anything u can think of that could cause this?

Its a jbl power 10, dual 2 hooked up at 1ohm to a audiopipe ASPM1300, gain is at half. I really dont think im overpowering it, ive heard of people putting 800rms to these daily, i think 600 is what it wants honestly. Im about to change it since i have 2 outputs, run 2 sets of wires 1 to each voice coil.

My friend and I had this issue. Check your dust cap (center top of your sub.) try peeling it slightly or look at it. That flapping is probably the dust cap not completely glued down. I'd check that.

dimensions are 1.25in tall and about 5in wide.

im only hearing it on some songs so im thinking its the crossover or the bass boost frequency setting.

Ill check the dust cap, thanks!

Well it sounded like it was coming from the amp rack. When i had taken it off to run the other set of wires and adjust the gain/crossovers(mini has them on the bottom of the amp) i found a decent air leak in the framing of the rack(recess where box dips in for amp) and could here that fluttering noise. I hit it pretty good with some e6000. If its still makin noises tomorrow ill attack it with the liquid nails. thanks guys

Other then the fluttering noise the box sounds GREAT, the JBL is starting to impress me

So i ran it by the local shop today to see what thoughs guys had to say. Had one of there guys come give it a lissen (been doing car audio for like 20years, seems to know a good deal) and he actually said he was quite surprised at the range and volume of it. Told me he couldnt imagine a ported box being and more accurate or tighter. Now the only thing is i didnt have the car running so my volts were lower. The sub wasnt doing that womping thing threw the long basslines like it does when the car is running. Do i need to turn my gain down or what?

Ima throw some fiber fill in there ans see how she sounds. Who knows a good SQ sub i can put in a sealed enclosure but will still render my review mirror pointless

All in all, for a SPL speaker in a ported box they said the sound wasnt gettin any cleaner. And that he thought is sounded **** good ha im kinda ocd about sound, it has to be clean, perfect, pure, crisp, BASS

And HazeGrey no theres not any other builder i know of near the area. Anyone even know of a guy near Dallas or Austin? Im right in the center of them. Although i honestly think my builder knows his stuff pretty good. The reviews for the JBL do say it starts distorting at high volumes faster/more so then some speakers
