what would be louder 2 12" ed k's or 1 hcca 15" sub? The hcca would go into 4 ft ported the k's would go into 1 ft sealed. Also would the k's have alot better sq?

that isn't a very good comparison simply b/c your asking about SPL and comparing sealed to ported. the HCCA should get louder if you builid the box right and not to mention you can pump over 1kw easily into a HCCA the K's will take 500rms just be very careful. Sq side the k's win hands down especially in a sealed box, so it comes down to if you want more SPL, SQ or SQL. why not build a 4cuft ported box for the K's tuned to about 30-35hz??

not for SQL means no. blake a.k.a soundsunlimited has 3cuft per driver and loyd had like 15cuft for 4 of them so i mean 2cuft ported is not too much for one of them.
