Has anybody taken out their 3rd row of seats for a system?

pretty standard operating proceedure to remove a back seat in a truck if you want a big system....

I have a Silverado ExCab with no rear seat,,,i neededmore room for amps and subz

A guy at a local audio competition had a Jeep Wrangler with the rear seat removed to fit a custom box with 4 12's. Had them all firing up, and hit ~146db. Went to Nopi in ATL, swapped them to down firing and lost over 10db's.

Not sure if that would matter to you or not, but you'd probably lose some loudness UNLESS you swapped the ports to come out from an area other than the floor face.

it was different meters then theres no way from turning the sub upside down you lose 10db:rolleyes:

I just want it so that when you look in my back window, it looks like there is nothing back there. I am enrolling back into college in January and stuff tends to get stolen a lot. I think i'm going to try it with mdf. Thank you for the input!
