Has anybody taken out their 3rd row of seats for a system?

Keeps it really real.
I am in the process of getting ready to take out my 3rd row in my durango and put in an SE15 or an SE12 or two sealed and making it look like I have no system. Has anybody done this or anything like this on the forums (excluding false floors in the trunks of cars). More specifically replacing the 3rd row with their system in any SUV. I wanted to see if anybody has any tips or any experience doing this before I decide that its a bad idea and change my mind. I know that fiberglassing would probably be my best bet, but I have no clue on how to fiberglass and have only seen step by step fiberglassing photos online. It looks easy, but has anybody done this with mdf? Or at all? This is currently the only pic that I have of the back, also I am trying to get rid of these 8's and the box all together if possible.

I bought a Durango without a third seat because I knew I was going to put a big system in. Mine has another storage compartment where your 3rd seat is. You can always build a floor to level out the entire trunk and then build on top of that.

yes i took out the back seat in my bronco for my old box (14.7f^3) but my new box i had to remove some other things and do a bit of glassing its a total of 23.9f^3 but ya gotta do what you gotta doo

I took out one of my seats out the 04 Tahoe for sometime for a box.

I just can't let go of them. When i have a spot they can go aka storage i'm takin em out. They go for 600$ on ebay so might make a profit too.

i took out my backseats a long time ago. and now i am sanding my *** off from the fiberglass and bondo i put in. haha!

check it out! put away for another winter. to be finished next summer--i hope!

I just want it so that when you look in my back window, it looks like there is nothing back there. I am enrolling back into college in January and stuff tends to get stolen a lot. I think i'm going to try it with mdf. Thank you for the input!

Well then do what I did. Put 5% tints all around and carpet the box black. Also if you don't want it to look like nothing is there I would do either a sealed or ported box with the subs either facing the driver or right against the tailgate door.
