Half of comp set working..

I finally got my rsd's up and working again, turned out to be a bad ground, dumbass me. Anyways only the right side works right now, nothing on the left does. I took off my door panel again made sure the tweeter and woofer connections were secure, reconnected everything to the crossovers, checked the speaker wire threw the car, etc.

Is there a way to test the speaker wire with the dmm or see if its getting power or test the speaker output terminals on the amp? what range/function should i turn it to and where would the probes go?

hmm what kind of amp did you have?? I have a kicker kx 450.2 powering mine, and it's weird because before i re-wired everything they were working great. I relocated my crossovers ran some new wires and been having problems ever since..

can anyone reply to my o.p?

its weird though.. it was working fine not too long ago.. to test to see if my amp channels are bad should i put the probes in the + - in the channel not working to see? or should I just switch the right side speaker wires into the left channel

use your DMM like you would set gains if there is no output I would say its crapped out.

Wow very weird.. i measured the the output terminals, they are fine. measured the speaker wire at the crossover, that was good too.. do you think it could be a bad crossover?
