Great Tinting Information

Llumar tint is the best. It has crushed charcoal in the tint to prevent fading. Its really not that expensive. I had my car done professionally with 2.5% on the back window and half glass and 35% up front. I paid $170 with a lifetime warranty and the install fees and everything. The warranty covers bubbles, fading, cracking, peeling, pretty much anything. Keep in mind on a dark car the tint will also look darker than it is.

Hell no, Madico is the best. But my next choice would be the Lumar though.

btw anybody in the DFW, TX area, this is the best place to get tint work done.

They are known for getting big rolls of the film, not just small sheets like small shops. This shop gets dealership contracts on a regular basis. Their work is superb. They will do 5% up front but make sure you pay in cash, and have cash in hand when talking to them. I havent had any issues with my tint in the last 4 years now.

If youre wondering which tint I bought, I bought the Madico ONXY tint., I bought it because I really liked the shade of the tint and it was the only one at the time that offered metallic particles in the film to block more heat. Now days I believe ceramic is used, it puts less strain on cell phone signals, radio antennas, and alarm antennas iirc. lifetime warranty as well on the tint I bought.

wow 50% is the law here in Ohio, that's not even worth it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I think 5% would look good but i dont need any more police attention. I have 2 speeding tickets, verbal warning about burn-outs and bumping too loud and im not 18 yet. I need to be an angel for a few more months.

The way to avoid dealing with cops is to tint illegally up to about four to five inches under the top of the window, which is where the light meter that they use stops. The cops around here, anyways. I used to have 5% on my windows, and 35% at the top. It always worked for me.
