Got my alternator today.(Need help fast.)

then tell rob that
If I were Rob, I would oppose sending my product for anyone to test, but I would encourage every single customer to give an impartial review of every purchase. He could use the testimonials in marketing materials. I just don't see the upside for Rob to give away a free alt to some guy to test, whether it be Matt or any one of use here on the board. He would have too much to loose in the off chance that the guy testing did not know what he was doing, or they received a DOA.

Eh.. Where your wrong is saying Rob, "Would have too much to loose"...

They got so much other stuff going for them that one little loss of an alternator wouldn't affect them in any way.

Thats why if anyone does compromise to this whole situation, I feel the person that recieves an alt to test, they should have to leave credit card information and bank info and submit a notorized legal letter-head stating if the alt isn't returned in the same order it was recieved and or it was DOA and its determined enduser abuse. They will have to pay the coast of the alternator at hand. If the contract is unabided by then legal action would be taken on part of the manufacture.

just a thought though.

You have it all wrong dude. It is not the cost of the alt that concerns him. He could give you a free alt and would never feel the pinch. The real concern for him would be the good name of his business. Try and put a price tag on good reputation. He already has a great rep in the business and that is what is at stake here.

Again, he has too much to lose and very little to gain. I feel for him. Good luck Rob! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Na... I have so much confident that the "Brand name" nor his rep would even be anything worth considered loosing..

Hell I'm sure if pro NFL football players and top ballers are going to them for some serious fire power.. I can't possibly see how anything as an end result would possibly harm neither companies rep.

Afteral you will still have those satisfied customers who will continue to spread the word and although bad news travles faster than good.

Well you get the point.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

pressing minds what to know they should be willing to give as much as they recieve meaning IF it is as important for him to go there then IT should be the same for you willing to go there or why not buy one to test..... Rob didn't start a pissing contest he only replied to what was said on post 74 in this thread...and the way that it was put is no different than saying "with all due respect" to someone then going ahead and insulting them anyway.
