It has needed to be done for a while hopefully they will step-up and say lets do it..I hope you guys have a 96 explorer 4.0 then I can purchase the alt at a discount.. hahahahaha

I'm willing to bet Mathew will tell me "No". As he said before, "it's pointless to do that and they know how well built there product is".

I have an 89 F150. We might have to go in part with MLA to get a module for each alt as well.

I'm running a module on my single DC alt so charging is right on the 14.7~14.8v mark.

I dont know how we could go about doing that.

Although to come to a good conclusion it would be better for 2 people to test. There's too many variable that need to be taken into consideration.

Well basically if you want to talk be willing to put your alt up against the other guys in real world test..With out having individuals have to buy your stuff one test would suffice..

My truck has full length FlowTech headers, GT40 aluminum heads, Motorvation power chip, forged rods, flat top pistons, stock duration Lunati cam, K&N air intake. I could probably provide the hottest under hood temperatures.

ummm only thing i could say is on the cougar the alternator is located on teh bottom back side so it catches all the heat and and road crap... i went through 6 iraggi alternators because of this how ever switched to mechman no problems so far...

Ah.... well my alt is mounted directly below the water coolant hoses and right next to that is my water pump... And below the alt is the passneger side header. I'll show you a pic of my fried Iraggi.
