Got my 2 new Type X's installed today.

Very Cool !! The Type X's do sound amazing. I have'nt rode my harley to work or anywhere else since I installed them. I wish I could get them installed on my harley. But I guess they would'nt sound as good.

Yep,for the money invested I beleive the X's were a good investment. I'm happy Later Dudes..........

Very sexy subs indeed.I almost bought one a little while back, still might.Maybe it'll be the first (well second technically, 1st permamnently) sub in the wife's car in a sealed fiberglass box.Hmmmmmm......**** ideas.

Anyway, congrats.I've only heard them a few times, and from what I've heard they're very nice.

I got impatient this evening and installed mine in their box. They're looking goooooood!

The 'x' logo is a weird shape, tho, makes the sub look crooked from certain angles, i had to look at the alpine logo at the bottom to make sure they were straight.

yep i angled mind both to the left...its looks badass as shit....and is loud at low volumes..(im still breaking them in)

that brings up a question i have had for years! can you put say a 8 inch sub on a bike? i mean would that be too much for it? drain the battery and take up too much space etc.

what do bikes have for audio?

There's no way you'd hear it while riding, touring bikes with systems just have two mid-high range speakers up front, and just blasts music full tilt boogie.

It might be an option to install it somewhere to listen to while you're stopped somwhere, might be nice for picnics, etc. on the road.

Them radio's only work on them big touring bikes. the bikes are kinda quiet. I have one of the beast you can here coming up your back door a half mile away. I can barely here myself think.
