good sub 300-400 watt

looking for a sub that works on 3-4 hundred watts. no more than $225.00. 10" to 15" doent matter. i have looking at th sound splinter Rl-i 10". any feedback on them or any ideas on other subs would be great

RE SR's...... I had 2 in a sealed.. they sounded fantastic off a MD1D and got decently loud... For the money I think The SR's are hard to beat... If you can, hunt down some Adire Shiva's, they're cheap and sound fantastic, or step up to the RE SE.... Just my 2 pennies...

can save some money and try a memphis power series sub... i havent heard them in person, but i havent heard anyhting but good things about em.. and i know they're cheap but they still seem like a nice little sub for the money, (can be had around$80ish) and would probaly love that power

but you could always fine something more expensive/better, just a suggestion

I'm planning on running that much to each of my Mach5 IXLs also.

Most subs will provide decent output with that amount of power. You're not going to set any SPL records, but the output will be more than enough for most normal people that don't feel the need to see how many people they can piss off with their system.

The enclosure is gong to be really important if you're really wanting to maximize output with that power. Unless you end up getting a really efficient sub, I'd lean toward a ported box to help out with the bottom end.
