Good daily workout tips?

Yep
So I started going to the gym everyday. Nothing hardcore, just do the machines. Run for 10-20 min on the oliptical, bench machine, curl machine, ab machine, shoulders then a forearm workout.

Just trying to get into decently good shape before i head to a university for the chicks, and so its alittle longer before the beer belly hits.

Also, ive started to do 10-15 pushups with my legs on the arm of a chair or an automon(sp?) per commercial of whatever im watching on tv.

Any other simple tips i can do to become somewhat fit?

Push up your body with the tip of your feet, any time you're just standing around, it'll help develop your calve muscles. (I forget what the heck you all that.) Ride a bike, surprisingly that's been my best 'work-out'. But, then again, I do BMX style riding, which requires a lot of force, and body movement. A simple 20-24" cruiser (without changeable speeds) seems to be the best for the legs.

yeah, i dont eat crap. i bearly ever eat out due to lack of money, ill have something like a sausage egg and cheese buscuit from home, jb&j for lunch, sometimes an energy drink, and dinner is the heaviest i eat all day, but nothing huge.

i usually have an ice, milk, protien powder with a banana thrown in for flavor all blended up in the blender each night. pretty good. thats my treat.

and ill eat some cookies or candy on the weekends, or rarely.

dude get your protien right and start taking a good multi vitamin

dude its not even really about working out to be honest,

it depends what your goal is.

drop weight? eat healthy. limit calories, simple carbs. carbs are good for energy when working out and gaining muscle, but i personally drink 64-80oz of water a day i eat a bowl of cereal (wheaties ftw), a sandwich or normal dinner for dinner and something small before bed. but, thats what i have to do because of the shift i work.

its better to eat the same amount you normally do in 6 meals rather than 3. that way your body can break it down faster and easier.

also, cardio & leg workouts will increase your metabolism. weight lifting will build muscle. i do my chest, traps, shoulders, bi's, tri's, quads, forearms and now starting running on the treadmill..

being a smoker, i'm up to 2 laps (half mile) without getting off at full speed run, not jog. im shooting for 2 miles by my birthday (jan 22)

run, cardio, lift, eat healthy

do you do those same workouts everyday? i suggest doing certain muscle groups a day like chest on monday legs on tuesday and then do your cardio first thing in the morning
i usually do them all everyday. i do a decent amount of weight on the machines, but im ususally never sore the next day.

drink a protein shake right after working out.
is the ice/milk/protien powder/banana cool? and whats the benefit of drinking it right after workout?

im right where im supposed to be for my height/age/weight. i just wanna change the shape of the container really. gain some muscle, tone the ads..etc.

im workin out my arms pretty good, trying to get good arm muscle all around, from forearm to shoulder.

ill do the oliptical. ill do it for about 20 min, 15 of which would be near top speed. usually comes out to 1.5-2.5 miles, between 150-225 cal. or so the machine says
