dude its not even really about working out to be honest, it depends what your goal is. drop weight? eat healthy. limit calories, simple carbs. carbs are good for energy when working out and gaining muscle, but i personally drink 64-80oz of water a day i eat a bowl of cereal (wheaties ftw), a sandwich or normal dinner for dinner and something small before bed. but, thats what i have to do because of the shift i work. its better to eat the same amount you normally do in 6 meals rather than 3. that way your body can break it down faster and easier. also, cardio & leg workouts will increase your metabolism. weight lifting will build muscle. i do my chest, traps, shoulders, bi's, tri's, quads, forearms and now starting running on the treadmill.. being a smoker, i'm up to 2 laps (half mile) without getting off at full speed run, not jog. im shooting for 2 miles by my birthday (jan 22) run, cardio, lift, eat healthy
