good 8" sub for a 300-500w amp

I am planning on getting a 300-500w amp and would like a sub to go with it. I am getting a new car which has a dimension sound system. I am going to upgrade some speakers as well.

There is a factory installed sub in the wall of the trunk. I am either going to put the sub there, or get a custom enclosure hidden in the tire well, as the car doesnt come with a spare (just some tire inflator).

I was wondering if anyone could possibly give me an estimate as to how much this enclosure would cost?

If you plan on putting it in the stock location you had better check mounting depth...

I will check that, but id really like to put it in the tire well, but idk how much that would cost.

Tire well would be better... Maybe a Sealed Sonotube would work well?

Sundown makes a great product and the V2's are very impressive... Look at Skar, DC, DAD, Digital Design and Dayton as well... Or if you where wanting to push some more power to a single 8 I have one you may like

I was looking at either the SA 8 or the Digital Designs 1508t. Just need to figure out about the tire well.

You could also jump up to the 2508... If you go sealed though Id stick with the SA

Well I am looking at $200 max for the sub. And back when I first joined here I was going to possibly getting a car, and was going to get 2 Skar VVX 12's but plans changed, and now I am going to get a Hyundai Veloster, so I won't have room for that. If I go with the tire well I could go up from an 8" to maybe a 10" or 12", but I don't know the dimensions of the tire well.

Where could I look about getting a custom enclosure in the tire well?
