GM frame rail battery mount

JZ designz on FB has dual brackets for $200-220. I know a friend running their quad bracket and he doesn't seem to have any issues.
There's one mechman dual bracket left but they're pretty high. $400 for them. We're having a 10% off sale on mechman right now but it's still even higher than the DC and JZ options.

I wonder if there's a battery tray like this for an 04 Tahoe like mine? It would be really convenient as I can already fit 2 batteries under the hood and that would eliminate the need for the 2 batteries I plan on keeping in the back.
I just bought one of his triple alt brackets for my truck and it fit like a glove and all the pullys line up perfectly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and I know we spoke about the drag on multiply alts on MAF and I will honestly tell you even with three alts I dont feel any drag and havent noticed any drop in mileage either

If we were talking about it being whored out for less than 5% margins then I could understand that, but seeing that I'm not a taramps dealer i dont give two damns currently so ill tell you that $300 you make on the 20k's is absurd. even whoring it out for $600 would still net you a pretty penny and you'd sell A LOT more stock.
Compare the margins on the 20k to the margins on a Korean amp of half the size then get back with me.

When your amp(s) are really pulling current you will!

As far as belt slip, you wont feel it if you got a new belt, but when it wears down you will.

You are better off putting a switch on the 3rd alt to have it off while driving.

Once you get to 10k power you will soon change the way you have your setup.

Just always good to know how other people have there setups incase i need ideas.

? What do I need to change ? thats what I am doing now, trying to get ready for the 10k

Well really its two alts for stereo, 470 amps for the stereo the third alt is stock alt for truck. I dont think that is all that overkill ? I just wanted A soild electrical that if I decide to change equip I wont hae to go back and upgrade everything.

Are all the alts h/o?

If so use all 3 alts and use 2 external regulators to control all 3 alts and make them charge at/near 14.8v hot.

This will keep from bulging batteries or over charging.

Real 10k rms will drain batteries quick if you dont have a big battery bank so you will end up needing the alt power to keep up.

From that picture from GM it looks like that 3rd batt would sit under the passenger side of the bed in front of the leaf springs or possibly right under the drivers feet or even front passengers feet

**** if anybody wants fram mounted battery treys I can build them I bet under a 01 chev 1500 p/u I could mount 20 standard gm battery's . Shoot under the front of

Bed outside the frame probably could stack 3 or 4 high and two across ya a lot of them
