Gain setting question

Hi, im new to the forums. I was wondering if I could get some help.

I have a Alpine Type R 15 with 4ohm dual voice coils and a Alpine mrd-m1005 amplifier. I was reading up on some info on how to set the gain with the tutorial and info from Jl's web site. I need to know what voltage I should be setting my gain at if im going to run the sub at 2ohm (1000W rms, 1800 Peak). And also, what mhz tone should I be using?

take your calculator and hook up your subs in parallel for a final load of 2 ohms. so take the square root of (1000*2)

50 hz there about. MHz are way past the range of audibility.
