Fuse Blows When I turn Car on

you may have blown the internal power supply on the amp. and it wont hold the charge. Do you have any other amps that would be more friendly with 8 gauge? try putting that amp on it and see if you still pop a fuse

 
could it be the alternator, or be the battery itself sending irratic power? because when it was working i was using a dmm to set the gains and the voltage on the amp would go from 0-60 back to like 14 up to 60 for a while and coast at around 12 most of the time. this isnt the first time ive been having trouble with getting power to my amp
