Fuse Blows When I turn Car on

The fuse for my power wire blows right when i turn the car on. Is this a problem with the battery or the wires nd fuse. Im using an 80 amp fuse for a 8 guage wire powering my pic1.1700d, im going 2 gauge pretty soon hoping that will fix the problem.

get your car towed to a shop to have whatever u screwed up fixed...

oh wait not the ground, srry the 12v battery wire..... i was confused between the two for a second

80 amp is to big for guage, wont solve your problem but you should replace it with like a 60 amp

no offense but if u dont know the difference or even get confused then u should not be doing a install take it to a shop or friend befor u **** up your car

wowwww, i wasnt thinking for a second and why would the guy ask if its the ground neways, i took a quick glance at it and said yes, i know what a ground wire is and i know what the power wire is......

but back to what my problem is, maybe it is the short, but i think im upgrading to 2 gauge no matter what.

dont upgrade to 2 gauge until u fix ur problem... seriously disconect whatever u did and take it to a shop.. ur gonna burn you car down
