Fuse and amp question

a fuse is only to protect a wire short circuit from causing a fire. if you put a 200amp fuse on a wire thats not rated that high and you have a short circuit the wire will heat up and catch on fire and kill everyone you've ever known and loved. congrats murderer

This made me really lmfao.

I had a 100a kick fuse installed running my Jl 12w6v2 and 1000/1 Jl slashe seriesI put in a 200a fuse. Does this make a difference in sound quality or maybe my subwoofer is blown or amp is damaged?
what size wire do u have.. wire size determines fuse size..

Geez, 1000/1 blew a 100A fuse? You're either cranking out insane amounts of clipping or that amps an inefficient turd. Maybe both.

I've been running a 1000w zed/lanzar and ~500w full range D on 4 awg w/ 100A fuse for ~10 yrs now.

The manual says to use 100A fuse, why would you replace this?

Is English your first language? This whole thing isn't terribly clear. Did you open the 100A fuse or just figure you would gain something by using a larger one?
