Fun new 8" Woofer I'm working on

It one needs a shallower 8" we have the E8 v.2 and SA-8
For a no holds barred 8" woofer it would be like punching yourself in the face to artificially limit it with a depth restricted frame. The clearances in the frame are necessary in order to make it what it is; the baddest 8" on the planet. They also result in a deep driver.

understandable, but if people had more than 7 inches of depth to work with they more than likely would run a wider driver

badass 8s' have a big place in the comp world to keep people in lower classes.

Ill be patient, i enjoy all of you equipment....... maybe some 6.5 inch components and coax down the line?

This one has alot of motor behind it... so we are looking at a very low Qts -- suspension doesn't need to be very stiff as it supports so much throw and the basket allows it so the FS will stay fairly low as well. It's a ported only driver for sure.

As for specifics I have predictions but I'm waiting until I get some real parts to put one together and actually measure before posting anything.
