Sold FS: DIYMA sub motor assembly spider

Posting for a friend. FS is a used 12" DIYMA sub. I believe it was SVC.

Something is wrong with it. Cone is beat up and due to being run on an underpowered amp, it makes a hell of a racket at the limits of excursion.

He just wants it gone. $35 plus shipping for what you see here.

Maybe it needs a recone, maybe more. The spider and motor assembly look good.

Those DIYMA subs do not require much power to run as you can see the coil was pushed hard enought to dent the cone from being overpowered. Those are ment for very small enclosures and 200-300rms tops.
That sub will need to be rebuilt, they are not a SPL driver by any means.

This. I ran mine on a pg x400 (bought from you), and it performed wonderfully. It certainly will never need more than 400rms to achieve its purpose.
