not true...my friend had a 89 4 door civic and had the LOUDEST DEEPEST sounding exhaust...you couldv herd that thing from a mile away...

My last truck(96 chevy) had edlebrock headers, dual 40 series flowmasters and no cats. That was the best sounding truck that I have heard (mostly stock). Now that I have a '02 and stock exaust...I am sooo glad I left it like that. No more rattling parts from the rumble. No more yelling on the interstate. No more setting car alarms off or waking everyone in my neiborhood up at 3am. I tell you, I have turned into an old person cause I hate loud exaust now. Plus, my other truck had many mods to it and it is no where near as fast or have the tourqe that this truck has.

I cant stand loud exhausts, Maybe cause 99% of the time I see some "G-Unit" white guy attempting to speed by in a new cavalier... so I laugh most of the time.

and i don't recall anyone saying anything bad about domestic's, however there are many comments about imports or "ricers"
