I was thinking about putting a 10" Alpine sub in my trunk and was wondering if this amp would be enough for it?

One of my bosses over there told me that it would be plenty for that sub and I would like to stick with it due to the discount..

What do you guys think?

Just so ya know I'm plannin on getting this particular sub...

It will work good yes, but its not what you would call plenty. Those subs will take 1000rms easily. The plus side to that amp is you dont have to upgrade your electrical, and you can run 4ga which is a blessing to work with compared to 1/0

For your first system, you will be happy. Pop a new set of speakers up front and you will be set for about.........6 months? Thats when the zombie effect sets in and you start complusively upgrading. Ask just about anyone on here. Its an epidemic.

You will be changing that 10 in less than 3 months. Trust me. GET the 12 and get 4 gauge or less wire. it will save you TONS of money over the course of a year..
