Finally....My new install build

Awesome, wish I could hear it. How does it sound when sitting in the car with the doors closed? Does the closeness of the drivers side tweeter make it stand out too much? How is the staging?

the staging is awsome...

the X-over also has a few tweeter adjustments on it

with the way it is set up the sound swallows you up...

it is very full and clear as a bell and really friggin loud...

even standing 100 feet away from the car you can hear

how crisp and tight it is..

I am very impressed....

I have a set of CDT .07x3 components and they do not even

come close to these things...I have them up for grabs...

if anyone is interested.... $900 canadian

if I don't sell them I will probably stick them in the wifes car

with a single 8" sub..it would be more than enough for her

the PX 600.2 amp puts out 180w rms x 2 into 4 ohm

and 290w rms x 2 into 2 ohm

with a single PX 600.2 each set would receive

145w rms per set and because of the lower

ohm load (2 ohm) the signal to noise ratio will

also be lower

with a PX 600.2 amp per set of components each

set will get 180w rms x 2 at 4 ohm with the highest

signal to noise ratio possible...

the damping factor of the PX 600.2 amp is also higher

at a 4 ohm load than it would be at a 2 ohm load

(better mid bass control)

bottom line each channel will get more power and

slightly better sound quality

ok.

I could guess that.

how much is the damping factor of it?

The power series amps have a very high "effective damping factor"

here are the specks

........................................................

CEA Rated

Power Output 180 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms

and ≤ 1% THD + N

290 watts RMS x 2 channels at 2 ohms,

14.4 V supply and ≤ 1% THD + N

Signal-to-Noise Ratio 79.5 dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms)

Dynamic Power 714 watts at 4 ohms

Effective Damping Factor 6.274 at 4 ohms

Maximum Input Signal 5.95 V

Frequency Response 10Hz – 97kHz (-3dB)

Maximum Sensitivity 264 mV

Output Regulation .056 db at 4 ohms

Dimensions (H x W x D) 2-9/16" x 17" x 12-1/4"

glad your going with all JBL.. everybody under-estimates them and puts them under the name brand category

My JBL GTi MKII sounded amazing

I had a tough time trying to find a place for those

gigantic X-overs...

this is what I did to them... they are countersunk into

the the racks and bolted on solid

I am also working on the pods for the tweeters....

the placement in the doors is only temporary...

the tweeters are going into the pillars
