Umm, I don't pay for food
Well, I sending payment tomorrow for them and am wondering a few things. I've heard they take INSANE amounts of power and I have been look at a few amps for the set.

My favorite I have come upon is the Diamond Audio d3400.4 which can be bridged for 183wrms a side. I am wondering if this is too much for them, because I do not want to blow anything. The speakers are going into the stock door locations with only a 10"x10" sheet of xtreme Dynamat beind them probably with a 0.5-1" baffle with some non hardening molding clay sealing them. I just want to know if I should get a less powerful amp so I don't blow the shit out of them.

I am already running a 12" L7 with 900wrms goin to it and the stock speakers cannot be heard at all, and I have my volume at 50/60. The speakers distort like crazy but the sub sound level is where I want it. When I put in my amp'd SSCS6's I am guessing I'm not going to be able to turn it the HU up over 20-25 because the mids/highs we be REALLY loud....So, how do I get my bass to be equally (in a sense) as loud as the mids/highs?

Lots of questions...

BTW here is a pic of the stock location in my car.

you're not gonna 'blow the shit' out of them if you are careful and smart. crossed over at 80 they should take the power fine, if they sound like they are stressing, turn the gain down a bit. my d361 is rated at 60 rms and they're taking 180 fine...

to set the bass so that it blends in, you might have to re-set your gains. turn it up the max volume you run your HU at, then slowly turn up the gain til you like how it sounds.

well, the general rule is to gain match your sub to the components, not the other way around

and if your sub isn't capable of matching your components, then you need to take it up a notch, or make-do with less volume from your comps

Im pretty sure I'm going with the d3400.4

It is also cheaper and puts out a lot more power.

I am just wondering how this 400.4 puts out 57w a channel but then bridged it puts out 182wrms x 2 @ 4ohms. I cannot understand that.

Also my other worry is that I am going to be sending 182wrms a side and the speakers over power the L7 too much. Because now i listen to my system at 50/60 volume and thats where the bass is good, and I know at that volume with the crystals gets 180+ a side i could not get over 20, and the sub can barely be heard @ 20.

I guess the gains will just have to be adjusted.
