But didnt Jesus die so our sins are forgiven? Then why are we born with original sin? And why should we not sin if he died for them to be forgiven? Wouldnt that mean he died in vain?
I'll put this ghetto terms so take it with a grain of salt.
Man was created perfect until Adam disobeyed God's rule not to partake of the fruit of the tree. Eve got into his head, and there we have it. Man will continually do stupid shyt all 4 the fruit of a woman. It's an endless cycle.
As far as Jesus dying in vain, he hasn't. But to say the world hasn't gone to shyt wouldn't be an understatement. Hypothetically speaking, if god, taking into account you believe there's one, had an opinion that could be expressed, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy. Let's see some of things that are quote, unquote wrong. No following his word and/or commandments, fake preachers, gay archdioceses, don't get me started on these catholic preachers and adolescent boys, killing, just all around sin that's going on. In Revelation, it talks about the end of the world metaphorically. There is one particular part that stood out to me though, this is a loose quote, "the seasons will begin to look the same". I know in Texas, every year Winter gets warmer and warmer. The lowest it got this year was 32 F. Maybe that's just me thinking out loud. I will say, I was brought up in the church. I was always there including Sunday school, bible study, bible Olympics, every **** thing you could think of. I believe in God, but I'm not brainwashed either, I keep a very open mind about things. Anyway, like I said, take what I said with a grain of salt, I do not intend for my comments to start a war.
