Just look at Japan's crime rates. They are at the bottom, and they have the highest number of atheist/agnostics. The fastest growing minority in the USA is agnostic/atheist fyi. Religion can help a lot of people, but it ****s a lot of shit up too.

The purpose of the 10 commandments is to show us that we are not righteous and therefore cannot go to heaven. Only those who are righteous can go to

Heaven and you can only be made righteous by the blood of Jesus. This is the doctrine of Christianity and if you believe it you do and if you don't you don't. God has given you the choice and Christians have no right to condemn you because we are all sinners, including the "best" christians.

I have just recently become a christian and don't fully understand it all but I do believe god is real and although I'm not perfect He still accepts me.

believe what you want, but organized religion is retarded. end of story. religion is basically a game show, like deal or no deal. pick the right suitcase and you're granted access to heaven, pick the wrong one and you're ****ed for eternity. its gambling with your soul. what kind of god would be so vain to **** millions of people to hell for not choosing the correct religion. wouldn't it just make more sense to let the good 'uns into heaven and let the bad ones rot in hell?

I'll put this ghetto terms so take it with a grain of salt.

Man was created perfect until Adam disobeyed God's rule not to partake of the fruit of the tree. Eve got into his head, and there we have it. Man will continually do stupid shyt all 4 the fruit of a woman. It's an endless cycle.

As far as Jesus dying in vain, he hasn't. But to say the world hasn't gone to shyt wouldn't be an understatement. Hypothetically speaking, if god, taking into account you believe there's one, had an opinion that could be expressed, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy. Let's see some of things that are quote, unquote wrong. No following his word and/or commandments, fake preachers, gay archdioceses, don't get me started on these catholic preachers and adolescent boys, killing, just all around sin that's going on. In Revelation, it talks about the end of the world metaphorically. There is one particular part that stood out to me though, this is a loose quote, "the seasons will begin to look the same". I know in Texas, every year Winter gets warmer and warmer. The lowest it got this year was 32 F. Maybe that's just me thinking out loud. I will say, I was brought up in the church. I was always there including Sunday school, bible study, bible Olympics, every **** thing you could think of. I believe in God, but I'm not brainwashed either, I keep a very open mind about things. The Crusades were a series of religion-driven military campaigns waged by much of Christian Europe against external and internal opponents. Was land involved, YES, i agree with that, but not the MAIN factor. Early Romans would either inslave, or kill certain persons who wouldn't convert to their faith, I'm sure they called themselves "Christians" too. Anything else you want to add?
